Happy New Years 2016

 

I really wanted to use this Unity Sentiment for my 2016 New Years cards, after many attempts, it finally came together.  

I started with a Darice embossing folder; Fireworks, I lightly stamp, then used a glitter pen on the raised areas. Unity Stamp; Sh*tkickers, I colored in some black, brown and silver to give the boot some more color and added Gems for accents to the fireworks!

Purr-fect Birthday Card

I made a couple of these cards for Birthdays and Thinking of you. The image came from one of the sites listed on this page,  http://freedigitalstamps.blogspot.com/. They have free stuff everyday. The paper came from BFF, and the sentiment was a left over I had laying around. I added a couple of Candies, which is my new favorite Bling item.

Howdy!

I'm on a kick with making this style of card, "Joy Fold". While in PHX a few weeks back Pat let me barrow her stamp set. My niece sent me this paper which came from Hot off the Press; Petroglyphs collage. I cut Howdy from ACY Cartridge.

Licks & Kisses

This is a I think one of the cutest cards I've made. The paper is from a card stack I just bought last weekend: The Paper Studio; Spoiled Rotten. The Dog image is a free download from www.craftgossip.com. The little tag is one of Joann's  scrap essentials. Thank you for stopping by.

Happy 4 th of July!

Well I can't believe the date already! Here is my July calendar page, it's one of my favorite pages. I used "Wild Card"

This is my combo summer/4th of July celebration card.
I used 4 carts; "Life a Beach", "Wild card" and I believe "Stretch Your Imagination" and "Stand & Salute"

This was my Hubby's card I stashed in his suit case last week.

Happy Fathers Day Cards

I was very happy with this FD card, it came out just as I imagined it should. Which doesn't always work out for me.  I cut a strip of paper for the belt then I cut the buckle from the

Paper Pups Cartridge.

The tools were cut from Everyday Paper dolls Cartridge.

The sentiment I believe was from Wild Card.

Happy Fathers day to all the days out there.

This one is from Zoe, she misses her buddy so much now that he is traveling a lot these days. She sits at the window every afternoon waiting for him.

I used a nesties for the window frame. I wanted to do more to this card but I just got lost with it.

I found this hammock on a piece of paper, I cut it out and placed it on a different background paper. I added some twin and the cut the cattails and sentiment from one of the font Cartridges.  

June Calendar Page

I'm a little late in posting my Page from my yearly calendar.

I stamped and colored a  tilda image, then cut from

 Life's a beach and Celebrate with flourish.

3 New Cards

We just celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary last weekend. I made this card using the heart from the Indie cartridge and the sentiment was probably from Sweethearts.

The next couple of cards I've made for my Hubby who has been traveling a lot. I've made a few cards to hide in his luggage. 

 "Miss you a Latte"

I colored an image using a Bella Stamp and I cut a flourish with one of the many choices from Cricut.

"You are my Sunshine"

I use the Forever Young Cartridge and I welded the sentiment using my Gypsy and Don Juan. Enjoy!

Shaped Cards

While at Craft Camp in April; a place where the

girls made paper crafts and the boys fish!

My BFF and I made some shaped cards.

We use the Nesties to cut the shape then added different boarders and corners using the Cricut and Gypsy.

The Corners were cut from "Straight from the nest",

the Dolphins were cut from "Life's a beach"

I can't remember where the coffees cups were cut from,

the Pinguin was from "Jolly Holidays".

Graduation Cards

We received 4 Graduation announcements this year, all girls.  Which made it easy to use this stamp for all 4. I discovered it about a year ago and fell in love with the sentiment.

I used A child's Year Cartridge for the Cap.

This card is for my Nieces Graduation from

Fashion Design School.

I used a pre~made card that was in my stash from years ago and added the word Fashionista.

I used the Forever Young Cartridge to cut "Fashionista"

Word Book

This is a Word book that I started in January of 2010. I started it for my Niece Ariana's Graduation in 2011. It looks like I made just in the nick of time. With Graduation just weeks away, I just have to bind it together....

I've been ask why I chose Black and White. I thought it would be 2 colors that would be elegant, however I always come up with cute. I love black and white together and have 2 different paper stackers of all black and white.

I special ordered the word book with her name, Ariana, then I wanted to use a descriptive word that started with each letter of her name. There are many different Cricut Cartridges used and every brand of embellishments I could come up with to finish each page. I hope you enjoy it.
